For many customers, taking a dental impression themselves can be a challenge. Veneera™ has therefore developed a process that is as simple, quick and safe as possible. There is also a detailed Veneera™ video guide so you can follow every step.
What you should consider when taking your dental impression for the veneer
Mix the white and yellow putty carefully until it reaches a uniform colour. Then apply the mixture evenly to the impression tray and press it onto your teeth from the front.
As the Teeth-Veneer is only applied to the front of your teeth, you don't need to make an accurate impression of the back. Nevertheless, try to create a generally comprehensive dental impression and the most important thing when creating the dental impression is the waiting time.
Make sure you keep to the 2 minutes! We need every detail of your front 8 (or 10) teeth in order to create a custom-fit and detailed Teeth-Veneer, so try to make sure that your impression also shows any missing teeth or gaps so that we can take these into account in your design. The transition between tooth and gum is also very important to make the dental veneer look natural and to capture more details of your teeth in the impression, you will need to repeat the process again with the design fluid.
Add enough fluid to the impression of your teeth and place it back on for 2 minutes and if you follow the steps in the Veneera™ guide exactly, you should be able to make an ideal dental impression yourself. We also support you with our WhatsApp support. Send us a picture of your Veneera™ impression and we'll evaluate whether it's a success, then all you have to do is wait for your customised Teeth-Veneer 2.0!
